After reading too many articles about sports while I was supposed to be paying attention in school, I thought to myself, "Why can't I do this?" That was the start of what is now an eight-year journey that has taken me all throughout the media industry — producing in radio, blogging from the outside, writing as an insider, and learning how to build an audience in a crowded digital scene.
These days, I'm reporting on the Sixers full-time for PhillyVoice, where I keep our audience current on day-to-day information without compromising the personality and hoops knowledge that got me here. I'm a regular guest on Philadelphia's 94.1 Sportsradio WIP, have appeared on NBATV and CBS-3 Philadelphia, and I've hopped on more podcasts than I care to recall. Occasionally, they ask players about me on SportsCenter, and Joel Embiid is on the record saying he likes me despite occasionally being stumped by my questions.
You will find a small sampling of the sort of work I do to keep readers and viewers informed below.
